Ένα δέντρο μεγαλώνει στο Μπρούκλιν - Betty Smith

1912. Eleven-year-old Francie Nolan lives in a poor neighborhood in Brooklyn, with her brother Neely and their parents, Johnny and Katie. Her mother, determined to offer her children a better life, works as a cleaner to make ends meet - of course, the little ones also help with what they manage to earn from the various odd jobs they do.
